 Munnt

Munnt Quispe Contemporary Artist graduated from Fine art's University Cuzco, Peru

Figurative, oneiric oil painting.

Currently working on the new collection "Fallen Angel".

Munnt renowned for his ethereal, dreamlike aesthetic with surrealistic explosions of color, Munnt's work delves into the unseen aspects of animal beings and symbolizes a religious language. A challenge to conventional notions of human religion.

Munnt, with the artist's decidedly unique style, blends contemporary surrealism and fantasy to create scenes portraying religion, icons depicting God from own perceptions.

Munnt is painting inspired by the concept of art of the indigenous master painters of Cuzco, Peru in the 17th century. Giving rise to the syncretistic baroque hybrid style in Peruvian art, the "Escuela Cusqueña" (Cuzco School).
A rebellious response against the doctrinaire Catholic religion.

At the same time, this artwork shows the energy of the interconnections between animals, plants and mankind.

The mixture between surrealism and contemporary fantasy creates scenes that represent the perception of atheistic religion and what according the artist symbolizes God.
